Postdoc Opportunities at Other Institutions

Postdoc opportunities at Sanford Burham Prebys (San Diego, CA)

  • Dr. Hudson Freeze's research focuses on the discovery, understanding and treatment of human genetic disorders resulting from faulty glycosylation, the process of adding sugar chains (glycans) to proteins and lipids. Glycans are required for proper secretion, targeting and functions of thousands of proteins. Therapeutic approaches for patients with Congenital Disorders of Glycosylation (CDG) focus on monosaccharide and other supplements. Lab Website. Postdoctoral Associate Job Posting.
  • Dr. Rolf Bodmer’s laboratory is interested in the molecular mechanisms of organ formation, how patterns are generated and how cells and tissue types assume their correct fates and functions.  The Bodmer lab is pursuing this interest by studying the genetic functions and interactions that specify heart development and maintain heard performance in the Drosophila model, in the hope of elucidating basic principles in organogenesis and functionality. Lab Website. Postdoctoral Associate Job Posting.
